I was 1 of the featured poets, LIVE at Moberly Arts & Culture Centre March 20, 2 pm! I read a climate change poem, Changes, and a love & ocean poem, Dancing Waves too! Great to read in front of a live audience and hear other poets read in person! I haven't done that since Feb 2020, as a feature! Wonderful! Thank you for the invitation!
One of my poems, Wildfires, Changing Climate, was accepted into Climate at Crossroads anthology! It came out March 2022! Wonderful diverse poems in the book! Thanks to Ashok Bhargava, Janet Kvammen & Bonnie Quan Symons for accepting it and getting it out. By Virgo Publishing.
My Lino-block print, Orca Rising, was accepted to Pacific Wild Action happening in May 16-19! Going to matt it and mail it off soon! friends.pacificwild.org
I'm writing and submitting poems about climate change, to an anthology on climate change this month. Still writing!
I'm submitting art to a Wildlife auction this month. Partial proceed of sales to the organization to protect pacific wildlife, forests, sea life and ocean. I hope I get in! Some of the art I'm submitting above.
Completed and mailed my sketchbook, Three Elements, to Brooklyn Art Library! 32 pages of new art and the cover!
In a few months it'll be uploaded to their system, part of their permanent collection, to be borrowed digitally or physically! So much work, but a wonderful project to be part of! Thanks to Brooklyn Art Library! I read at the open mic live, at the final Poetry in the Park for 2021! A good crowd for this outdoor event in New Westminster, BC, outside the Massey theater!
The two co-hosts in lower left photo, Janet Kvammen (purple hat) and Aidan Chafe, with a contest winner, Maureen. Pic of the crowd! A wonderful event! Photos by Warren Dean Fulton and Bonnie Quan Symons. My collage, Playful Love, was published in a new magazine, Pocket Lint number 2 July 2021. Thrilled to get my art in an International magazine!
I've been creating a sketchbook for 10 months, making 32 pages of drawings, collages & prints for The Sketchbook Project! When completed it'll be added to the Brooklyn Art Library permanent collection. It can be signed out to view in original and digital version! Not done yet, due in September! Catch a glimpse here! See more on my Sketchbook Project page!
