My imaginative collages " Mom & Dad: Springtime of Love" & "Mother: Blush of Youth" were in "Out of The Blue" group show @ Renzo's Cafe, Vancouver. May 2 - June 30, 2018.
Nostalgic collages inspired by my Mom, Vlasta, and photos found after her passing. Using my fresh photographs of flowers, plants, ponds, dishes, benches and collected japanese papers, found papers, acrylic paint & ink.
Energized by Vlasta's life, a tribute to her, as clothing designer, mom, gymnast, Czech woman, wonderful dancer, flower lover & traveler. Dedicated to my dad, Jan (passed 2011), gymnast, great dancer, traveler & financial success, and in memory of my loving, kind grandmother. More, innovative collages to come.
