Fresh art 2017 to 2020: mother series
My Mom died last summer. I wanted to make this Collage art series to honour her memory and to use the great photos I found of her in unique ways. The flower photos are shots I took in my neighbourhood.
Yellow was was Mom's favorite colour, and she loved Black Eyed Susans, so I used many of my photos of yellow flowers. My Mom also loved Echinacea flowers (Coneflowers). Poppies were often used in Czech decorated ceramics and in traditional Czech desserts. I included all that, with Japanese papers, Sepia toned origami, scrapbook papers and some great Mom pics!

Art for sale and collectors Delight
Self portraits, lovers, I combined with Goddesses: Inanna, Kali, Lakshmi, Sarasvati, and the God of Love, Krishna! I was fired up by my love of the Gods stories. My love of family and romance was also my inspiration.
