Eva Waldauf: Persuasive Poetry 2019 - Now
Some of my fresh, innovative poems & recent spoken word events! A few unique poems, pics, videos & links to whet your appetite!
In July 2021 I read at the first live event since the pandemic hit Vancouver. I read at Wolfsong Gathering at Jericho park, to a large crowd and a few open mics at Poets Corner on Zoom.
Since then I performed as one of featured poets, at WIN Award Gala live, December 17, 2022, where I received a Distinguished Poet Award, WIN UNESCO World Poetry Day March 20, 2022 and at open mic event Poetry in Park, New Westminster in August 2022.
I perform and feature around Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby and New Westminster. I've been published in many anthologies & a few mags, including Quills Canadian Poetry Magazine January 2023. I'm currently one of the Directors of Pandora's Collective poetry and outreach society.

Dancing Waves
my love and partner dialing oldies, WW2 era tunes
on his cell speaker,
rouses my craving to dance with him,
lightheartedly, clasping one another, we venture a spin,
giggling and chuckling at our fumbled attempt
before long, we`re escaping to Second Beach,
to revel in blazing sun and balmy breezes,
beyond the cusp of September,
drifting in the ocean`s undulations, tide jumping in seaweed,
crisp, briny waters refreshing our souls
